workshop

Over the years ECBA has organised many workshops on subjects related to Biology.

Usually workshops are related to curricula at schools and academies or to professional fields in Biology.

We are now working on a European Qualifications Framework for Biology and the Biosciences.

The Steering Committee for the EurProBiol has proposed a workshop to be held in november 2010.

ECBA is also working hard on it´s initiative "Biology 2020".
Main issues of this initiative are to present and explain the key role and importance of biosciences to solve more than 5 of our 7 biggest global problems (1) as well as the important contribution of biosciences in a future science-based economy.
